J.S.E. Electrical Life, LTD
J.S.E. is my creation—a close-to-reality fiction based on the inventor Jordan Sinclair Everington and his investigations into paranormal science. It's been my great pleasure to both create art inside of this sphere, as well as expand the lore and backstory of J.S.E. and his works.
Cellular Resonance No. 2 (Built 2023–2024)
This is my first "Electrical Cabinet of Curiosity" that I built. It came from a set of unlikely overlays: a bag of unused microplate assay trays + an exploration of led Matrix panels + an obsessive need for backstory. that kicked off the creation of J.S.E. Electrical lIfe and the fictive jordan sinclair everington.

OBSCURA (Built 2024–2025)
The second "Electrical Cabinet of Curiosity" came out of casting about for ideas on what J.S.E. would have created next. I found a curious article from the 1950s on Thomas Edison's 'unknown' paranormal experiments. I mixed in a fascination with camera obscuras and a return to led matrix panels and came up with the obscura device.

Skullektriks
Skullektriks is my independent light art practice, a space where I experiment, consult, and build projects outside of the world of J.S.E. Electrcial Life, and my collaborations with Twisty Maurice.
Ravensglow (Work in Progress)
This idea has been in my mind for some time — a ‘deconstructed’ raven made from layers of internally lit, edge-lit acrylic, suspended overhead. This version has a three-foot wingspan, and will be a finished artwork in its own right, but I plan on using it as a study for creating a larger-scale piece in the future.
• Debuting at Portland Winter Light Festival 2026
• Approx. 36” wingspan, 18” deep, 12” tall
• Suspended installation
• Multi-layered edge-lit acrylic with light spill spacers
• Internally lit with programmed LED sequences (PixelBlaze)
