A work-in-progress for the Portland Winter Light Festival 2026.
A deconstructed laminar electric raven, with a 36" wingspan, hung from above.
It comprises of repeated patterns of edgelit acrylic, that is internally lit with multi-channel LEDs, controlled by a Pixelblaze. The acrylic is offset so that there are open air gaps to allow light to stream out of the raven in addition to the edgelit acrylic.
